Abstract Submissions
Abstract submissions for ANZSEV 2026 are now open.
We welcome submissions from researchers, clinicians, students and early-career investigators across the extracellular vesicle field. Abstracts may be considered for oral or poster presentation.
Presenting at ANZSEV 2026 is an opportunity to showcase your work, contribute to the scientific program, and connect with peers and leaders from across Australia, New Zealand and the broader EV research community.
What do I need to know before I start my submission?
Abstracts can be submitted for either oral or poster presentation.
Word limit: 250 words*
Some requests for oral presentations may be offered a poster presentation plus a 3‑minute lightning talk.
You do not need to register to submit an abstract; however, you will require a valid registration for your abstract to be included in the program.
*Abstract title, authors, and affiliations are not included in the word limit.
Abstract Submission Guidelines
The maximum text length is 250 words, including subheadings (excluding the abstract title, authors, and affiliations).
Abstracts may be structured under the subheadings Aims, Methods, Results, Conclusions. Subheadings should be concise, with only the first word capitalised.
Reports of completed studies are preferred and will be prioritised for oral presentations. Abstracts that do not report results, or only describe methodology without findings, are less likely to be selected.
Results of research will be prioritised over descriptions of services for oral presentations.
Abstracts should include reporting on magnitude of effects and statistical analysis.
Most submitted abstracts will be allocated as poster presentations due to limited oral presentation slots.
Images are permitted in abstracts.
